Prizes awarded to Adeje’s 2023 top young students

The main aim of the prizes is to motivate young people and encourage them to follow the careers they want through training and education

Recently a group of very talented young people were recognised as part of the ‘Recréate’ programme for their academic excellence. The students were both ESO and Bachillerato class members from Adeje’s public schools.

The prizes were given by the mayor of Adeje José Miguel Rodríguez Fraga, who applauded the young people for their achievements “for their efforts and commitment and that of their families”.  The mayor added that the purpose of prizes like these was also about “building confidence in aptitudes and learning as much as in creativity and personal initiatives”.

This year the Department of youth, under councillor Raquel Rodríguez Alonso, increased the number of Bachillerato prizes, precisely to allow more of Adeje’s young students avail of educational opportunities.  13 students were awarded this year.
