This coming Monday 15th April at 1pm, Radio Sur Adeje 107.9FM launches a new inclusive programme "Superando Barreras Sonoras" (overcoming sound barriers). This initiative, from the departments of welfare and social cohesion, under councillor Raquel Rodríguez Alonso, and communications (including Radio Sur Adeje) under councillor Manuel Luis Méndez Martín, will be an inclusive weekly programme, in Spanish, dedicated to community needs.

“The programme has been designed to work as beacon of information, culture and education, open to all voices and diverse views.  Believing in true inclusion, the programme rejects the notion that any human condition can be an obstacle to free expression and learning," said Rodríguez Alonso.

The radio programme will be a space where the voices of disability will find a loudspeaker.

This innovative space will feature interviews with people from all walks of life, musical interludes, debates on matters of interest and controversies, as well as news of relevance to the residents of Adeje. There will be  sections dedicated to nature and technology ensuring a varied offer that will leave no one out, celebrating the richness of diversity in all its forms.

The debut programme of "Superando Barreras Sonoras" promises to be a memorable event, a step forward in Adeje's commitment to inclusion and equal opportunities.
