A training fair, a meeting point for all those interested in further training, at basic, medium or superior level, is taking place in Adeje in the CDTCA between now and March 17th. This is the first time in a number of years that the event is in-person (due to the pandemic), but it is a welcome return for those interested in further education and training.
The stalls and stands are located in the main garden area of the CDTCA, and the second floor classrooms, with tents for each of the main education centres in South Tenerife, to allow for individual demonstrations and easier formats for talking to smaller groups of students who are visiting the fair with friends and/or family.
The Adeje councillors for education and for economic development, María Clavijo Maza and Raquel Rodríguez Alonso, indicated that “this fair is important for students; it is somewhere where they can find out, first hand, the different education options that exist in terms of professional training, which in turn helps them make decisions about their professional future”. The councillors added that “in the CDTCA we also offer a range of courses and workshops that come with professional certificates which are a great boost to those subsequently seeking work”.
Carmelo Exposito, director of the centre for professional training in South Tenerife, said that during these three days over 3,000 people would pass through, students from all the educational centres in South Tenerife who wanted to find out more about the training options on offer.
In parallel the trade fair is also offering a number of workshops and conferences related to the relevance of professional training in the work zone, artificial intelligence, FP Dual, the Spanish education system, marketing and communication, etc.
