The benefits of cultural and creative engagement and supporting cultural industries from a gender perspective will be discussed

"El Poder de la Literatura: Más allá de las letras" (The Power of Literature: Beyond Letters), is a workshop with a literary theme, open to the public in Adeje. The Adeje Department of Equality under councillor José Antonio López Delgado, is facilitating this event, which, with art historian Ana Moruno Rodríguez, examines the history of earlier women writers who fought against stereotypes and managed to get ahead in a sector that was highly biased and exclusionary.
In addition, topics such as the benefits of reading and writing will be discussed, activities that are hugely beneficial, and favour memory and creativity. This workshop, in Spanish, is on March 7th, and will aim to encourage reading and storytelling. It will be in the Centro de Desarrollo Turístico Costa Adeje (CDTCA) starting at 6pm.
