4 january 2024
Adeje is ready for the arrival of Their Majesties, the Three Kings of the Orient, and have prepared a children's show and a parade that promises to live up to expectations. Their Majesties will arrive by helicopter into the Municipal Football Stadium at 5.30pm tomorrow, January 5th.

Free tickets to see the arrival have all been reserved. Those with tickets will be able to access the stadium from 4.45m until 5.30pm, and thereafter those without tickets who have queued outside will be allowed enter until the stadium is at capacity.

The welcome will include a children's show welcoming Their Majesties, where the Magic Key will be the focus of attention. The Magic Locksmiths, Lúa and Aylah, will try to convince the Magic Key to come out of its box to help the Kings deliver presents.

The Three Wise Men's helicopter will land on the football pitch, where they will be welcomed by Mayor José Miguel Rodríguez Fraga, who will present them with the key to the municipality allowing them to enter the homes of the people of Adeje to leave their presents.

The fun continues later on, from 7pm, with a parade along the Calle Grande featuring fantasy and tradition.  More than 50 children's characters will take part with LED lights and balloons. Two bands, a fanfare, and singing and dancing troupes will add rhythm and colour to the event, and the Adeje Volunteer Fire Brigade will be on-board with a fire truck to join in the celebrations.

The three floats of the Three Kings will lead the parade, accompanied by Romans, temple guards and biblical characters.  The floats have been newly decorated with a specific musical theme for each one.

The parade will end in Plaza España where the Their Majesties will take their seats and the children will be able to meet them and hand in their last-minute letters.

Adeje Town Hall is reminding the public that they do have a need to behave with responsibility and comply with the safety measures during the events.
