BPW, the Business and Professional Women’s foundation, established a Canarian branch in 2017, and has just signed an agreement with the Adeje council regarding collaboration in projects to advance further equality in the borough. Instrumental in the first phase of the collaboration between the two bodies is the Radio Sur feminist radio programme, ‘Déjate de Cuentos’.

The agreement, signed recently by Adeje mayor Fraga José Miguel Rodríguez Fraga and president of BPW Canarias, Antonia Varela Pérez, will see a series of concrete commitments on both sides, with the foundation promoting courses and equality opportunities in Adeje, and the council supporting and giving space to the association regularly.  Furthermore they have just appointed Monica Radóvan, presenter of the Déjate de Cuentos programme, as their Tenerife south delegate.
