The Department for economic development and employment, under councillor Raquel Rodríguez Alonso, is preparing for a day-long event, ‘Adeje Tecnológico’, on April 20th from 9am to 7.30pm. The event is under the SMART-ECO umbrella, part of the INTERREG MAC 2014-2020 territorial co-operation programme including Spain and Portugal, with European Social Funding.
The aim of the meeting is to see how much new technologies and innovation is and can be used by local businesses and the advantages that IT can offer in the expansion of their companies. ‘Adeje Tecnológico’ will work to be a meeting point for the different participants, with stands for companies to present their products and services in an interactive and personalised way. There will also be workshops on artificial intelligence, cyber-security, technology based solutions for business challenges, etc.
