Costa Adeje presents its tourism culture programme

Circuses, galas, theatre, concerts, performances - just some of the activities planned between now and the end of the year

30 march 2023
On Wednesday March 29th, the tourism councillor Adolfo Alonso Ferrera, in the company of a number of private partners, presented the 2023 programme of tourism cultural events for Costa Adeje.

Circuses, gala events, theatre, concerts, performances for everyone are in the calendar of events scheduled from now until the year’s end for one of the most important tourist destinations in Europe. The stages for many of these events are located all over Costa Adeje with many of the events organised through partnerships with Adeje council and the private sector. Over the coming months the public can enjoy activities in Golf Costa Adeje, Siam Park, the Hard Rock Hotel, the GF Victoria Hotel, the Adeje Football grounds, the Adeje Auditorium, Plaza Salytien, and many other parts of the borough.

According to the councillor, “today’s presentation of the calendar of events, held in conjunction with the tourism sector representatives, has two facets. On the one hand we are diversifying the cultural offer for our visitors and residents, and on the other hand we are contributing to the economic and commercial life of local businesses, which are always very important to us, as their success contributes directly to the success of the borough and the people who live and work here.”

The cultural programme includes events from Farra World, who are bringing a range of musical programmes from the ‘Ritmos del Mundo’ option.  The public can also look forward to the SunBlast and I Love Music festivals.

The Hard Rock Hotel will be presenting their hugely popular Children of the 80s series from April 15th, with concerts until the end of the year.  The GF Hotel offer two shows, Scandal, and Olé, both already creating waves and audiences in Costa Adeje.  Via New Event Producctions Adeje will be one of the stops for Sting, with a concert in the Adeje Football grounds on June 3rd, the Xenox Producciones will be promoting Adeje Classic, with concerts from the TSO, Black Sound Costa Adeje and Big Band Gran Canaria.

René González and the Canarias Jazz Orchestra will also be on stage in Costa Adeje during the year with the Big Band Workshop Costa Adeje 2023, offering jazz concerts, workshops and conferences.  Talita Cumi Producciones are already well into the organisation of the II Festival Mujeres World Fest with Adeje’s Ainhoa Aguilar forming part of this year’s line-up.

Other calendar dates will include the Clownbaret festival, Tenerife Fashion Beach Costa Adeje, the Canarian Jazz Festival in July, and the Mayantigo Fest Costa Adeje – a folklore music festival with local and invited folk groups, and presented in Spanish and English.  Towards the end of the year the Costa Adeje Christmas Fair will also make a welcome return.

In addition to all of the above, the newly opened Adeje Auditorium has a fantastic programme of concerts and events already on sale, more information and full programme here: https://www.auditoriodeadeje.es/
