Adeje council has released details of the performances that will be taking place in the new Adeje Auditorium, with local, national, and international companies due to take to the stage. The mayor José Miguel Rodríguez Fraga said, “This new cultural infrastructure has generated a great deal of expectation in recent months, both as a local cultural space and for the shows that we have already booked. We are preparing a series of guided tours of the installation for people and collectives interested in the new auditorium.  This is a unique building in terms of architecture and new technology”.  (There will be at least one guided tour with English translation programmed).

Some of the headline productions planned for the coming months includes Hamilton, Dumbo el Musical, Cruz de Navajas, Peter el Musical, Tricicle, En Otra Clave, Pedro Guerra, Paz Padilla, We Love Queen, the Tenerife Symphony Orchestra and the Chinese National Acrobatic Circus.

The auditorium will be officially opened on March 17th, but tickets for a number of the shows are already on sale.  March will be an ‘open door’ month, and will included a number of free shows, with Los Sabandeños, and Sole Giménez, with tickets by invitation.

On March 23rd and 30th En Otra Clave will fill the theatre. March 26th will see a Spanish version of Hamilton on stage.  Local talent will also be debuting in the new cultural space with performances from the students and staff of the Adeje School of Music performing on March 24th.

April will welcome a number of powerful productions including Dumbo el Musical Cruz de Navajas (with the music of Mecano and much more), and Canarian singer Pedro Guerra in concert.  May bookings include Mayumaná, humourist Paz Padilla, magician Mago Yunke (the current Magic World Champion!), and in June Peter el Musical and Tadeo Jones will bring fun for all the family.  We Love Queen will bring you the music of one of the greatest rock bands ever heard or seen.

In July the Tenerife Symphony Orchestra will perform, on Friday July 7th, and on August 9th we will welcome the incredible soprano voice of Ainhoa Arteta.  October, dates to be confirmed, Chinese National Acrobatic Circus will be in Adeje, and this month will see the auditorium used by many local groups during the town’s annual patronal fiestas.

The London sell-out show, Totally Tina will run, from November 30th to December 3rd, with Justine Riddoch, an incredible dance troupe, original choreography and much more, bringing the best of Tina Turner to the Adeje stage.
