Adeje council’s department of economic activity have launched a campaign, around February 14th, “a day for love and friendship”, promoting the local business network and encouraging people to buy locally.  Councillor Raquel Rodríguez Alonso says the aim is to “promote Adeje as a great place to shop”.

The campaign is using the hashtag, #quieretesiempre (translated as ‘always love yourself’), and includes various activities in the borough, with children’s workshops, on February 10th in the Plaza Calistenia del Galeón, February 13th in the Plaza César Manrique in La Postura, and February 14th in Plaza Cruz del Llano.  All the workshops are from 4pm to 6pm.

There will be ‘Photocall’ opportunities in different commercial centres and gastronomy workshops for grown-ups.  These will be on February 8th, from 5pm – 8pm,  where you can learn to make a mini biscuit St Valentine cake (with Boutique Sugar Sprinkles), on Friday February 10th, 6pm – 8pm, with coffee and cake tasting courtesy of Le Criossant, and there is a flower arranging workshop with Crisana Florists on February 9th, from 6pm – 8pm.  All workshops are in the CDTCA, in Spanish, participation is free but you must register,docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfiVJTA10fA8EYBIxrQAeEbAFrN2zQeBTb3APCp3azpCBz5VQ/viewform
