Adeje council and the Mynd Hotel are working together to promote employment

The aim is to develop activities that will provide work for the unemployed

Adeje council and the Mynd Hotel have signed an agreement whereby both institutions will work together in assisting those currently seeking work in Adeje, to fill vacant positions in the hotel.   The aim of the agreement is to cooperate in developing a series of actions that will directly help those currently unemployed to find suitable employment.
 
At the signing of the agreement were councillor for job creation and economic development Manuel Luis Méndez Martín and Björn Mildner from the Mynd Hotel, part of the Construcciones Acosta Matos group. The councillor underlined the importance of this kind of cooperative project as a step in the right direction towards improving employment opportunities for people resident in the borough. 
 
The Adeje council will be active in the selection of people for interview for jobs in the Mynd Hotel, to cover existing and future vacancies.  They will be using the Adeje job centre data base, Adeje Global, to identify the best potential persons for the jobs.  They also commit to assisting the hotel in any training programmes and/or interview sessions. For their part the Mynd Hotel will continue to work in conjunction with the council in improving employment opportunities for people in Adeje.
