The workshops and activities run parallel to the university courses

The Adeje summer university is back with a series of parallel workshops and practical activities to complement the courses during the university week. There will be 10 courses and 7 activities altogether.
To encourage participation in all aspects of the university the Adeje council is operating a free bus service on the relevant days, from the Adeje campus, in the cultural centre, to the La Laguna university campus, with stops along the way. You should tick the relevant for bus journeys when you register for the course online, www.adeje.es.
Regarding the workshops, they will run from July 14th to 22nd and include such varied themes as mental health, Spanish sign language, science and pseudoscience, urban dance (adults and youth), cinema – death and dignity, and the new Spanish labour law. The practical activities will all take place in the afternoon and include dance demos, making and tasting healthy smoothies, meditation, and musical performances. All activities will take place in the Plaza de España and are free and open to all.
