Alejandro Sanz is bringing in ‘Sanz en Vivo’ concert to Golf Costa Adeje on July 28th, a concert that looks back over his 30 year career.
 
Details were launched yesterday by the Adeje mayor José Miguel Rodríguez Fraga, tourism councillor Adolfo Alonso and the show promoter Leo Manisto.  The mayor said, “This concert is a terrific addition to the summer schedule, for the residents who now have the right to attend events of this kind post-Covid, concerts with stars of the magnitude of Alejandro Sanz.” The concert is also something of a symbol for the promoter and council as it was originally scheduled for before the pandemic struck but cancelled, but now, two years on, it can take place.  
 
The mayor underlined the importance of helping cultural sectors and events such as this, which will also bring money into the borough.

Leo Manisto, promoter, said “the event is also helping place the islands on the cultural world map, something important given how the pandemic affected the sector in the last two years. We are grateful to Adeje and the mayor for the help and opportunity they have given us to bring the concert here”, he added.  He said they were hoping for a full house. 
 
Tourism councillor Adolfo Alonso thanked the hotel Bahía del Duque for hosting the press conference to announce the concert details, given that it was “one of the symbols of excellence in the quality accommodation sector in Adeje”.  He said that offering concerts of this kind were also indicative of the excellence in cultural offerings in Adeje.
 
The organisers and council also underlined the fact that this other similar events continued to be organised under existing Covid safety measures.
The concert sponsors are the Adeje council, Costa Adeje, Happy Streets, the regional Canarian government, the Tenerife Cabildo, the Canarian institute for cultural development, Armas, Archipiélago Renting, +LED, Distergen, the Hotel Bahía del Duque and I Love the World.
