The Adeje councillor for Education María Clavijo Masa, has overseen the publication of the list of grants allocated to aid in the purchase of school materials for the 2021/2022 school year. These grants are for students attending infants, primary, secondary and public vocational and ‘bachillerato’ courses. The applications were received earlier this summer from families resident in Adeje. The list is now online here: www.adeje.es
A total of grants for 535 students have been approved and will be available before schools open, so that, according to the councillor, “families will be able to purchase the school materials they need before classes begin”.
Grants were awarded to all those who met the criteria as laid down in the application process. The list also includes those who were not successful in their applications with some indication as to why, and families can make an appeal through the proper channels within a month.
