Your rights: Corona virus travel cancellations

If you have paid for a train or plane or boat ticket you have, according to the Adeje Consumers office, up to 14 days from the official ending of the state of emergency, to cancel your journey without penalty. From the time of the cancelation the company has 60 days to offer you an alternative which you are happy with.  If you reject their offer you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of the expiration of the previous 60 days.
 
Regardless of the above, if, in the case of a flight, it is the airline itself that has cancelled the flight it should give you a refund within 7 days.  
 
If there is an issue regarding hotel or other overnight stays the company you have up to 14 days from the end of the state of emergency to cancel the booking without penalty.  Having received your cancellation request the company has up to 60 days to offer you an alternative, if that isn’t to your satisfaction they have a further 14 days to refund any monies paid.
