Adeje's cultural department, under councillor Adolfo Alonso Ferrera, is organising a series of short training sessions this December at the Adeje and Fañabé cultural centres. All courses are in Spanish.
From 9 to 20 December, there are various training activities designed to meet current needs in an increasingly digitalised world on offer. The courses are aimed at both adults and young people, particularly with flexible schedules.
These short training sessions are quick courses designed to provide practical and useful knowledge on topics such as preventing online fraud, using artificial intelligence, and navigating social media. Each session costs €9 and lasts two hours.
How to Register
Interested participants can pre-register online at
www.adeje.es by completing the relevant form. Once pre-registered, they will receive an SMS confirming their place or notifying them of their position on the waiting list and then have to drop into the cultural department offices in the Adeje cultural centre to pay by card.

Preventing Online Fraud and Safe Shopping
9 and 11 December at Adeje Cultural Centre
16 and 18 December at Fañabé Cultural Centre
Time: 4:00–6:00 pm
Details: This course teaches how to identify warning signs on suspicious websites, protect personal data, and make secure online purchases.
Introduction to Artificial Intelligence and New Technologies
Time: 6:00–8:00 pm
Details: Participants will explore the basics of AI, augmented and virtual reality, as well as the ethical risks associated with these technologies.
Learn to Create Your CV
10 and 12 December at Adeje Cultural Centre
17 and 19 December at Fañabé Cultural Centre
Time: 4:00–6:00 pm
Details: Aimed at helping attendees structure and personalise their CV using online tools.
Presentations, Platforms, and Online Safety for Class
Time: 6:00–8:00 pm
Details: Designed for young people aged 12 to 16, this course will teach them how to create interactive presentations and protect their online privacy.
Social Media and Email Management
13 and 20 December at both centres.
Time: 4:00–8:00 pm
Details: Learn how to use social media effectively to enhance personal and professional productivity and manage emails efficiently.
