The Canarian Institute of Haemodonation and Haemotherapy (ICHH) and Adeje Town Hall are running a blood donation campaign until 29 November. The mobile unit is located in the School of Music car park on Av. Barranco de las Torres.
This year, the campaign is delighted with the collaboration of the Adeje Local Police, Civil Protection, and the local Taxi Cooperative. Representatives Rafael Antonio Padilla, Chief Inspector of the police force, and Juan Agustín Trujillo Álvez, president of the cooperative, have already set an example by donating blood on the morning of Wednesday, 27 November.
“The involvement of these groups not only raises awareness of the importance of donating blood but also strengthens the sense of community and solidarity in Adeje. The joint commitment of the Local Police and the Villa de Adeje Taxi Cooperative serves as an invitation for everyone to take part, demonstrating that each donation can make a significant difference in the lives of those in need,” emphasised councillors for Health and Security, Esther Rivero Vargas and Mercedes Vargas Delgado.
Donation Schedule
The mobile unit will be available tomorrow, during the following times:
- Friday 29 November:

The ICHH reminds everyone that donating blood is a selfless and essential act. Every donation helps those who need transfusions due to illnesses, surgeries, or emergencies. It is recommended that men donate up to four times a year and women up to three times, with a minimum interval of two months between donations.
