Adeje Town Hall thanks hotels and individuals for helping those affected by Playa Paraíso Fire

The mayor underlined the solidarity and swift response of the community following the incident this August

The mayor of Adeje, José Miguel Rodríguez Fraga, together with the Councillor for the Presidency, Manuel Luis Méndez Martín, the Councillor for Security, Mercedes Vargas Delgado, and the Councillor for Health, Esther Rivero Vargas, met today, Thursday, 12th September, with representatives of several hotel establishments, and private individuals who helped rehouse residents affected by the fire at the Marina Palace apartments in Playa Paraíso, last month.
 
The Playa Olid, Tropical Park, and Mynd Callao Salvaje hotels, along with two private apartments owned by Andrés and Johanna Dukala, were recognised for their swift response and offer of a temporary solution for the affected individuals during the first few nights. Since then, all those affected have been able to find permanent accommodation.
 
Adeje’s mayor, José Miguel Rodríguez Fraga, expressed his gratitude, stating, "The immediate and generous response from the hotels and private individuals was crucial. In such a terrible moment, their support ensured that those affected had a safe place to stay during the emergency. This kind of solidarity reflects the character of our town, which has always been known for standing by those in need."
