¡Al agua patos! (Into the water duckies) – a ‘refreshing’ story time for babies about water and the wonderful creatures that inhabit it

The event, in Spanish, will take place in the the Adeje Auditorium

26 august 2024
Storyteller Isabel Bolívar will present an engaging baby story time called ¡Al agua patos! (Into the water duckies), an intriguing tale that highlights the importance of water and the marvellous animals that live in it. Frogs, fish, and ducks will be the ones to tell and sing stories, using different resources such as objects, puppets, and lights, among many other surprises.

The initiative, organised by the Adeje Public Library, under Councillor Adolfo Alonso Ferrera, is for babies aged between 6 and 36 months.  The baby story time idea is an activity based on simple stories, music, the use of objects, and creative play, with the primary goal of stimulating babies by helping them develop their first sensory, communicative, and motor skills as a foundation for their overall development.   The project blends oral tradition and children's literature, as they work together in fostering a love of reading from an early age and in educating the public in the appreciation of culture and art.

This baby story time will take place in the smaller hall in the Adeje Auditorium on Tuesday, 3 September, starting at 5:30pm, lasting approximately 30 minutes.  The event is free, but space is limited, so do register in advance by calling the following numbers: 922 711 116 / 922 756 246.
