13 may 2024

On Thursday 16th of May at 8 p.m., the Adeje Auditorium will host the second show as part the VII Adeje Amateur Theatre Festival, Dinero negro (Funny money), which tells the story of Carlos García, who, after coming across a briefcase full of €10 million finds himself involved in a series of chaotic events on his birthday.

The play is set in Carlos’ home.  He, despite the delicious dinner prepared by his wife Ana, has other plans.  Those plans will be cut short by the unexpected arrival of Ana's sister and her son, followed by police intervention, further complicating the situation.

The escalating confusion and a mysterious phone call, leads to an intriguing denouement that will leave the audience wondering who will keep the money, who will face the legal consequences, and how will Carlos Garcia's eventful birthday be resolved?

Tickets, €5, are on sale on the platform www.tomaticket.es and at Adeje Auditorium box office.
