Fake News and its social consequences

Adeje is hosting a lecture given by the Art Historian, Ana Moruno Rodriguez, on the role of women in journalism and the prevailing misinformation of current affairs in the media.  The talk will take place in the CDTCA on Thursday, March 14.

 

Moruno Rodriguez will examine the progress of women in the media, highlighting their growing presence as journalists and presenters.  The talk will also look at the risks associated with the abuse of information media and the emergence if the concept of Fake News.   Participants will also be asked to begin to learn how to recognise and analyse fake news.
