New work from José Gregorio de Luis Matías

Tenerife writer José Gregorio de Luis Matías has written a book detailing his experiences with mental illnesses.  In a simple and personal way he outlines how he suffered from and dealt with anxiety disorder.  The author narrates the road to recovery that involved suffering but also personal and mental growth, making this book a resource for those who need to fight their "demons", and for family members who need to understand some of what is going on to be able to provide the necessary help and support.

 

This is about the first-hand experiences of the author. his shadows, fears and uncertainties during the course of his personal battle. He states, "this is the Calvary of my great journey from the darkest part of my being, my fears, my unhealed wounds. The devil is on my shoulder wherever I go, but he no longer scares me. I have not yet defeated him, but I hope to do so soon."
