Following his victory in the Monte Carlo Rally, the leader of the WRC3 category in the World Rally Championship visited Adeje’s tourism councillor Patricia Paulsen and sports councillor Adolfo Alonso.

This team victory - Jan Cerný and Ondrej Krajca - is very special. Cerný, who lives in Adeje, wanted to share the win with his fellow drivers and those who have supported him during his international journey to success, including Patricia Paulsen and Adolfo Alonso. The pair were delighted to receive Jan Cerný and he brought along the trophy he won in Monte Carlo, as well as one of the iconic plaques that his Ford WRC3 car carried during the course of all the stages he competed in.

During the reception with the two councillors, which was also attended by one of the architects of this project, Ángel Bello, Jan Cerný talked about the sense of adventure competing in the Monte Carlo Rally inspired, and how important it was to start this project with an important victory. "To start our World Rally Championship programme with a victory has been a dream. I know how important this result has been and that's why I wanted to share it with Adeje Town Hall, because they helped us achieve it.”

Jan Cerný’s next challenge is the Swedish rally from February 13-15. The team participation in the World Rally Championship / WRC3 is possible thanks to the main support of Costa Adeje and Angel Bello Motorsport, in addition to FBL Front Brake Light, Evrofin Digital & Technology, KD, Czech Motorsport, InterCars, Proresta and Auto Cerný.
