Jan C?erny´, a Canarian driver (from the Czech repullic but resident in Adeje), already a champion in his own right, is taking part in the Monte Carlo Rally (Jan 24-28) in the WRC3 category with copilot Ondr?ej Krajc?a.
Cerný is very popular among Canarian fans,and last year he was runner-up in the regional asphalt rallies and has officiated, on two occasions, as car zero in the 'Subida a Tamaimo'. Cerný will carry the Costa Adeje name with him not just here in Monte Carlo (his third) but in other events in the near future. "Returning to the world rally championship has been possible thanks to Costa Adeje Tenerife Sur, Angel Bello Motorsport, and a number of other supporters who will allow us to compete, he explained. "I have been living in Adeje, south of Tenerife for many years, and it will be an honour to carry the image of Costa Adeje Tenerife Sur ".
