On Saturday 2nd December the Degusta.me Adeje 2023 food fair brought the month of gastronomic delights to a close. During November a range of activities took place, adult and children's workshops, show cooking, master classes, tastings, etc., in the CDTCA, the Farmers Market and other parts of the municipality - Armeñime, Tijoco-La Hoya, Fañabé and Las Nieves.

The councillor for the economy Mercedes Vargas Delgado said that  "this type of event aims not only to continue to promote the business sector, specifically the restaurant sector, but also to raise awareness of the incredible and diverse food and drink offers in Adeje, highlighting local produce and the talent and professionalism of the people in charge of our establishments".

Alberto Álvarez Jiménez, councillor for economic development and employment, expressed his satisfaction as "the celebration of Degusta.me plays a very important part in the revitalisation of the restaurant sector, which is becoming increasingly important in our municipality".  The councillor added that this year "we have made a qualitative leap in the gastronomy world, with more professional participation in the workshops run by chefs with Michelin stars, and all of this without losing the primary aim of bringing the richness and variety of our gastronomy to the people of Adeje and to all those who visit us and highlighting both the establishments and the people who work in the sector".

The special Degusta.me food fair was visited by more than a thousand people who enjoyed the food and drink offered by the 40 participating establishments and wineries.

There were also various performances including a dinosaur parade with music by Candeladixilan, jugglers, music from The Vid Band and performances by Los Coquillos and La Chalana.
