The Espíritu Triabona Adeje Sports Club posed for the traditional official photo of the season this Sunday afternoon, 26th November, at the Tenerife Top Training high performance centre in Costa Adeje. The club has more than thirty athletes, up to the Master category.

The club presented its new sports kit for next season. Once again the club has opted for the Joma brand, which has already kitted out the athletes in previous seasons. In addition, the new training shirt was presented, incorporating an innovative and exclusive design for the club, a white shirt with details printed in pink and turquoise blue.

The shirt front bears the sponsor name, and the back carries the logo of the Fundación Carrera Por La Vida - Walk for Life. The aim of this initiative is to give visibility to a foundation that works every day to meet to the needs and demands of people and families affected by breast cancer and to raise awareness of the importance of early detection of this disease.

The presentation was attended by the president of the club Alexander Pérez, team sponsors Irene Trujillo from Podología San Isidro and some members of the Carrera Por La Vida - Walk for Life Foundation including  president, Brigitte Gypen.

After the photos were taken and some gifts were handed out, the Club's president, Alexander Pérez, added his “most sincere thanks to all those present, especially to Brigitte Gypen, president of the Fundación Carrera Por La Vida and especially to our colleague, friend and honorary member of this organisation, Sandro Esposito, who came all the way from his homeland in Italy for the occasion. We are delighted to be celebrating a year here in Adeje where sport is so important. The variety of sporting offers and services are an unquestionable reference for clubs such as ours. Sports management is an art and a science, which requires knowledge and expertise to effectively use the material and human resources at its disposal and without doubt this municipality offers more than enough.”

Since the foundation of Espíritu Triabona Adeje Sports Club it has been a tradition that each and every one of the athletes, up to Masters, get together to pose for the annual ‘family’ photo, this year in the T3 facilities in Adeje.

The Club Deportivo Espíritu Triabona Adeje is really enthusiastic about the next year,  with expectations of matching or surpassing the milestones achieved in previous seasons. In 2023 they included that of athlete Tomás González who was fifth in the m70 category in Madeira and was runner-up in the World Team Mountain Running Championships, and of Adeje shot putt athlete Rafael Matéu who won the bronze medal and national runner-up in the Spanish Masters Indoor Championships held in Antequera in Malaga.
