Tenerife Tourism, a division of the Tenerife Cabildo, together with Adeje Council and the regional government’s Promotur section, will launch the sixth edition of Tenerife Fashion Beach Costa Adeje, which will be held on November 3rd and 4th in the south of the island and which can be followed via streaming around the world.
Top model and TVE presenter, Nieves Álvarez and TVE presenter Roberto Herrera, will act as hosts of this great beach catwalk event.
More than 20 companies, eleven swimwear firms presenting their collections for beach and pool, supported by a dozen brands specialising in accessories will be taking part this year. Designers and brands will show off their proposals on a spectacular catwalk with Lola Casademunt as the finishing touch.
Invited brands, both Canary Islands and national, will present their Spring-Summer 2024 looks, with designs committed to fashion and the defence of the oceans, under the Solidarity Cause 'Plastic Free', a cause that aims to weave a more sustainable future with the elimination of single-use plastics in order to reduce the pollution of our seas.
New features in the 6th edition
Among the new features of this edition of the TFBCA, it is worth mentioning the return of the Fresh Fresh competition, which will see new models chosen to wear the designs of the participating companies, as well as the reactivation of the Fashion Forum, in which leading fashion professionals - to be announced - will take part in a series of meetings that will give the public the opportunity to get to know the sector from a professional and close-up point of view, guided by leaders in the sector, both national and international.
The II Tenerife Fashion Beach Award for the most commercial collection presented on the catwalk will be awarded once again by a jury of professionals chaired by Jesús María Montes-Fernández, the winner to be chosen from among all the clothes shown by the participating designers.
The highlight of this great catwalk event will be Lola Casademunt, a company that will be showing for the first time on Playa del Duque Norte in Costa Adeje and which has become a reference for its cosmopolitan and daring designs, combining eclecticism with sophistication.

The aims
The TFBCA is a unique event in Europe, taking place, as it does, at the start of winter, in the open air and with an incomparable sunset over the Duque Norte beach in Costa Adeje, creating images that will promote the island through Tenerife Tourism. This initiative was also awarded this year's ArkoIris prize for the best fashion collective in the Canary Islands, for its promotion of diversity and inclusion of the LGTBIQ+ collective and the social values promoted by this catwalk. This is a perfect event to showcase the creations of the specialised swimwear sector, promoting Canarian, national and international design.
A showcase of trends that serves as a meeting point for professionals in the sector and also as a platform for the promotion of tourism on the island and in Adeje in particular, under the binomial of fashion and climate, creating synergies that boost the development of the economy of Tenerife by uniting the tourism sector and the textile industry, where both can benefit from the promotion, marketing and joint dissemination of their activities.
