Adeje's renowned water and theme park, Siam Park, has continued its drive in the search for extreme thrills with opening of its latest attraction: the Saifa slide. This new slide might not be for the faint-hearted, and promises to raise adrenaline with its dizzying 82-meter high ride and 360-degree turns.

The opening event was presided over by the owner of the Loro Parque group, Wolfgang Kiessling, and his son Christoph Kiessling, founder of Siam Park, with invited guests, among them  Adeje’s tourism councillor Patricia Paulsen. "Saifa is an exciting attraction that will undoubtedly draw visitors from all over the world. It represents the innovation and quality that characterises our water park," said Paulsen.

Adeje's tourism councillor underlined the importance of first class complementary activities to keep Costa Adeje at the forefront of the best and most attractive tourist destinations. "It is not enough to have exciting attractions like Saifa, we must also offer a complete experience to our visitors. Costa Adeje prides itself on offering a wide range of high-quality complementary activities, from restaurants and stores to night-time entertainment options," she stressed.

A giddy ride!
Saifa, which means "lightning" in Thai, promises a fast-paced experience – you will be experiencing a speed of 10 meters per second on the 306-meter-long ride, ending in a thrilling crossover where the two slides run parallel and in opposite directions.  The ride promises an adrenaline rush that should leave you breathless.
Siam Park has been voted the World's Best Theme and Water Park for nine consecutive years by TripAdvisor clients who have enjoyed its facilities. "With the addition of Saifa and the commitment to exceptional complementary activities, it is very likely that Siam Park will continue to win prizes for its originality, attractiveness and innovation, all while meeting the highest standards of quality and safety" commented Paulsen.
