La Quinta celebrates its fiestas in honour of the Virgen del Socorro, Santa Margarita and Santa Lucía

La Quinta will host the annual fiestas in honour of La Virgen del Socorro, Santa Margarita and Santa Lucía. The events will take place in the plaza from 8 to 10 September. 
 
La Quinta has a traditional old farmhouse that can be seen if you follow the Boca del Paso - La Quinta footpath, the origin of the farmhouse dates back to the 16th century. The festivities will begin on Friday 8th with the Fiesta Blanca (White Festival), and people are invited to dress in white for the party, which will be hosted by the Toque Latino orchestra and a DJ.
 
On Saturday 9 September, activities will begin in the morning. At 11am there’s a community football match. At 11:30am, children's activities will begin with bouncy castles and a foam party.  There’s a general get-together at 2.30pm and music at 6pm Mesturado, followed by a religious procession at 8pm.  That evening there will be a comedy gala from 9pm and a street party starting at 11pm with music from Amanecer Gomero and Maquinaria Band.
 
Festivities draw to a close on Sunday September 10th with community events during the day, mass at 5pm, a procession, and a performance by the Adeje School of Folklore of Adeje.  The evening ends with music from Fernandito and Fernando Martín from 8pm.
