British Consul for Spain visits Costa Adeje

Earlier this week the Adeje councillor for Tourism, Patricia Paulsen Fölling, met with Lucy Gorman, the British Consul for Spain, and Helen Keating, the permanent vice-consul here in Tenerife. 

 

The new councillor for Tourism Patricia Paulsen Fölling, who has also been a director of hotels in the destination, is currently immersed in a series of meetings with different sectors of tourism, because, in her opinion, "it is necessary to look at an x-ray of the sector, assess those elements that are working well and review those that need to be improved or modernised". 

 

At the meeting, the three representatives agreed on the premise that Costa Adeje must continue to evolve in order to remain a destination of excellence, for this it is necessary to maintain and monitor aspects such as cleanliness, safety and quality of local services.

 

Lucy Gorman is the Consular Regional Operations Manager for the whole of Spain. She oversees the work of consulates who do vital work in helping both British residents and tourists in different parts of Spain, including Adeje.
