The first Cross Golf Costa Adeje by Espíritu Triabona Adeje was held yesterday, Sunday July 30th, with Miguel Ángel Vaquero Agama, from Tenerife Cajacanarias, and Ana Boullón from Vallivana the winners in the overall competition. This was a tough 3,000 metre circuit with over 400 runners of all ages taking part.
Second in the women’s section was Gara Hernández Salazar from Trivalle Güimar and Gellytza Rodríguez Hoffman, from the same club, was third. In the men’s race second place went to Antonio Arce, from CD Travertoro, and Juan Manuel Pérez from CD Correayo Spar. Team winners were Espíritu Triabona Adeje with Atletas 97, Puerto de La Cruz in second and Canaryrun in third place. In the relay race the Banana Run Club took all the podium places.
The event also had a charity side with entrants bringing a kilo or non-perishable goods for the Adeje food bank. The organisers and the Adeje sports' department thanked everyone who took part.
