Costa Adeje is known as one of the best sun and beach destinations in Europe.  Its location in Tenerife South, very close to the equator, and the influence of the trade winds, allows residents and visitors to enjoy mild temperatures and more than 300 days of sunshine a year.

However, beyond its stunning landscapes, beaches, natural riches and infrastructure, this destination prides itself on its local community and the way it interacts with its visitors, making them part of the authentic experience in this corner of the south.  "When we talk about tourist attractions, the people of Costa Adeje will always be in first place. Our arms are always open, our hospitality makes us who we are", says mayor of Adeje, José Miguel Rodríguez Fraga.

In line with this vision, Costa Adeje has launched a campaign under the slogan #BeCurious which has its own website: www.becuriouscostaadeje.es. Here people will be able to explore and discover the resources offered by the region, such as gastronomy, sports, activities, hotels, among others, through the stories of its people. People such as Alexandra Rinder, a world-class body board athlete, Conrado Díaz, a muralist and painter, or Alexis Ortega, a beekeeper with a stall in the Adeje Farmers Market.  These people and others have participated in the campaign.  Their stories tell of their experiences in Costa Adeje, and the hidden treasures that could not be found in a tourist guide.

The new promotion supported by Adeje council, in inviting people visiting Costa Adeje to be curious and dare to discover a destination that offers much more than sun and beach. Costa Adeje is a place full of interesting stories, secret corners, different products and unforgettable experiences. "We want the people who visit us to immerse themselves in the authentic Costa Adeje, to venture beyond the conventional and discover all the wonders that our territory has to offer. We invite you to be curious, to explore and live enriching experiences that bring you closer to our people, "says José Miguel Rodríguez Fraga.

Costa Adeje hopes that the campaign will inspire tourists to interact with the local community, supporting responsible and sustainable tourism benefitting the entire region.
