Tenerife Fashion Beach Costa Adeje is promoted by the Adeje Council and the Tenerife Cabildo

Tenerife Fashion Beach Costa Adeje, an initiative backed by the Tenerife Cabildo and Adeje Council, was presented with the award for the promotion of diversity and inclusion of the LGTBIQ + collective.
The presentation took place during a gala event, part of the Gáldar Pride 2023, and recognises the work done by Tenerife Fashion Beach Costa Adeje, an event that has become an exponent of social inclusion, promoting the change in the representation on the catwalks, reflecting the paradigm shift as far as sizes, capacities, ages or sexual identities are concerned, incorporating curvy models, LGTBI + models or models over 30 and in favour of visibility and integration. The event will celebrate its sixth edition in Adeje in October of this year.
Adolfo Alonso Ferrera, acting Adeje councillor for tourism, picked up the award on behalf of the Council and Cabildo, highlighting the joint work of both institutions to build a free and diverse fashion space. The event has also become a meeting point for the textile sector that makes Tenerife, and more specifically Costa Adeje, the epicentre of fashion, specialising in swimwear every season, and very much in line with the strategy of diversification of the tourist offer to attract new markets marked by Turismo de Tenerife.
Ferrera also highlighted the work of designers attached to the Tenerife Moda programme of the Tenerife Cabildo who work to create innovative and integrating collections.
