Volunteers will stay in the Djoudi National Bird Park and live with a local community

16 june 2023
(This is not an Adeje Town Hall project, we are simply helping by sharing the call out for volunteers)
Are you interested in volunteering for a reforestation Project in a local community zone in Senegal?  Travel and accommodation costs would be covered, and the activity is part of the TREEMAC international Project, running from August 25th to September 2nd.

Volunteers will stay in the Djoudi National Bird Park and live with a local community – so the organisers are stressing that anyone who does volunteer should be a person who is tolerant and respectful of different religious beliefs and African culture.  The ideal volunteer will be passionate about the environment.

They must be:
Over 18 years of age
Individuals without serious medical conditions or life-threatening allergies
In good physical condition
Socially open

Those with training in environmental matters, who have previously worked as a volunteer, and speak Spanish, French and English would bring extra skills to the project.

If you are interested you can register and find out more here:

You have until June 23rd to apply and if you are pre-selected will be contacted for an interviews.
