Job-seeker programme launch in Fañabe

The programme will help 20 people seeking to re-enter the work force

5 may 2023
Adeje will launch a new job-seekers programme in the Fañabe cultural centre, aimed at people between the ages of 18 and 60 years of age. The project is the result of co-operation between the Adeje department of economic development and employment, and FIFEDE, the insular foundation for training, employment and business development, the aim being to improve the employment prospects for those taking part.

Registration is now open and people can apply online through www.fifede.org , by email to lanzaderas@fifede.org  or empleo@adeje.es or in person at the CDTCA, in Adeje.

Adeje is joining with the towns of La Orotava and La Victoria who are running similar programmes, each one working with those in their region who are looking to enter or re-enter the work force, in particular young people. Those who are accepted into the programme will receive free training in work orientation and in advanced use of digital tools.  They will learn how to create and present their curriculum vitae, and receive practise in ‘real’ interview and selection processes, how to use social media to their employment advantage, look for and apply for a position, and promote their professional profile online.

The plan is part of a Tenerife Cabildo/FIFEDE project with regional funding.
