Adeje is launching a citizen guide

Users can use the guide as a tool to discover all the services Adeje offers

Adeje council’s department of citizen participation, under Councillor María Clavijo Maza, will soon be launching a guide to the services and resources at the disposal of Adeje residents.

The guide, primarily in Spanish but with an English version in the planning, will give information on different departments of direct interest to residents, with information on how to sign on the ‘padrón’ (resident register), make any modifications to information of relevance, find out what services are available, etc.  The first guide will be available in a printed version and on-line.

“Adeje council works to meet the needs of our residents closely, using different methods to reach people, we are a council with a set of principles, a council that values our residents, our old citizens and new, quality of life, respect, civic duty and social harmony, and with this guide people will be able to find the practical information which they need to help them live a better life here”, said the councillor.

The idea arose from suggestions made at a series of ‘positive parenting’ meetings held in recent months by the department, which also sees participation from different council departments working in synergy, allowing maximum use of resources. The Cabildo is also part of the project through the ‘Juntas en la misma dirección’ (together in the same direction) initiative.

The initial version of the guide, in Spanish, should be available in April.
