The students in training were able to visit the bars and restaurants in the hotel

Students from the PFAE (alternative training programme) ‘A la Carta’ project recently paid a visit to the Hotel Bahía Principe Sunlight, Costa Adeje, to get to see the different bars and restaurants in the hotel during working hours.
Ana María Concepción, head of the sector, showed the students the variety of restaurants and bars the hotel has, explaining the working norms and conditions and the way the hotel workers operate in the different areas.
The students attended a talk by Jose Antonio García, in charge of drinks and food. He spoke of his own professional experience and how he had worked and advanced in the relevant sectors, and the work options they would have when they finished the course.
Finally Sara Soler, a talent specialist from the Grupo Piñero department of selection, training and development, told them about the company and gave them some advice on how they advance in terms of job seeking, what employers are looking for, and how to prepare for a work interview.
