CD Espiritu Triabona has become a club with many titles to its name at team and individual member level in its relatively short life-span.  Founded in 2011 it has made more than 650 podiums in different categories, won regional categories, with athletes winning in team and individual competitions.

Last Sunday the club took time to present their new team members for next season in front of the historic Casa Fuerte in Adeje. They also showed their new club colours for next season and presented a shirt to Adeje sports councillor Adolfo Alonso Ferrera.  Also present were ex Olympic athlete Mario Pestano García, the current MMA Spanish champion Miriam Santana, and members of the Akrolihy digital marketing company based in Adeje and members of Atletas Sin Fronteras. The latter has many stars who are overcoming functional diversities to compete at the highest level and CD Espiritu Triabona carries their logo on their shirts.

During the event plaques were presented to a number of associate members – Pedro Martín, Germán Díaz, Abraham Delgado, Davíd González and Alexander Pérez, the club founder.  He thanked Adeje council for all the help they had given the club in particular the department of sport and Councillor Adolfo Alonso.  He also expressed his gratitude to the sponsors.  “We are a club from humble beginnings, but at the same time we are ambitious in the sporting arena, we want to organise sporting events and Adeje is giving us the opportunities we need”.
