The inaugural lecture of the XXIX edition of the Summer University of Adeje will be given by the graduate in pedagogy and psychopedagogy, Mar Romera, who is also president of the Francesco Tonucci Pedagogical Association. The presentation will be entitled ‘Towards Emotional Excellence’, one of the topics that she is expertly versed in.
Romera is a teacher and graduate in pedagogy and psychopedagogy. She is a specialist in emotional intelligence and author of several books dedicated to school, childhood and active didactics. In addition, Romera is President of the Francesco Tonucci Pedagogical Association (APFRATO) and currently advises on the implementation of innovation programmes in different centres in Spain.
She is the author and coordinator of the pedagogical text, ‘Educar con tres Cs, capacidades, competencias y corazón’ (Educating with three Cs, capacities, competences and heart). She also teaches in different parts of Spain in partnership with the different regional education departments.
In her presenations Mar Romera addresses several topics, among them, emotional intelligence, education with 3Cs, the game of life, playing with emotions, the universe of words, change management, motivation and personal improvement, well-being, personal development, etc.
