The Tijoco Bajo Granary has become the Adeje centre for craft trades and traditional labour, and this municipal building will soon reopen to the public as a space for the public dedicated to traditional culture, and will host different courses and workshops around the artisan crafts.

Councillor María Clavijo Maza commented, “With the reopening of the Granary we are again able to enjoy a municipal resource which we have converted into a space that will be used to value all that is great about our traditional Canarian culture”.

The courses that will be run here will begin next month, and registration is already open on the main Council webpage, www.adeje.es in the culture section. Among the course on offer are an introduction to making traditional Canarian costumes, traditional pottery, traditional hunting bags, etc.
