The aim of the trade fair was to united job-seekers with potential employers

During the morning and afternoon of March 10th Siam Mall hosted Job Dating 2022, an initiative organised by Gehocan in partnership with the Adeje Council aimed at bringing talent to companies in different sectors including commerce, tourism and the service industry.
This was the third time the event was held in Adeje, and also offered a series of short interventions by experts in business on key tips on finding success in the search for Jobs.
According to the Adeje councillor for economic development, Raquel Rodríguez Alonso “this event was an opportunity for all those currently seeking employment, but in particular young people who are about to enter the world of work for the first time”.
She said that this, the third such trade fair in the area, was an important meeting point for those currently unemployed, giving them an opportunity to talk directly to those in the employment sector. It was also a useful tool for the council to see where the demands in the different sectors were, meaning the council could subsequently work to adapt their policies of employment and training schemes to meet the new and growing needs.
