November is theatre month in Adeje

The XXIV Theatre and Dance showcase is happening alongside other local events

November is traditionally theatre month in Adeje and this year the list of events and locations has expanded to include performances outside the main town centre.  This year is the 24th year the Theatre and Dance showcase takes place, with the support of the Tenerife Cabildo, with 5 main performances in the Adeje School of Music and Dance at 8pm.  All performances are in Spanish.
 
Delirium Teatro will open the series of performances on Friday November 5th with ‘Fábula del topo, el murcielago y la musaraña’, and then on Friday November 12th it’s the turn of Bibiana Monje, with ‘Pogüerful’.  Morfema Teatro present ‘Informe lope’ on Friday November 19th, and on Saturday November 20th ‘Heroínas de España’ is a voice and dance performance.  The final work in this series is ‘Transitando El Interior: Madre + Adulescents’ by the Maria Mora dance company on Friday November 26th.
 
For children, there is a special performance on October 30th at 5pm in the Adeje School of Music and Dance, when Clownbaret present ‘The Pestof’, and on November 20th, to mark World Children’s Day the Carolina Purpurina Company present ‘El Caso de Don Glotón’ in the same venue, at 12 noon.
 
Theatre in your neighbourhood
In parallel to the events mentioned above, there will be neighbourhood shows staged in La Hoya (Nov 6th), Armeñime (Nov 13th) and Fañabe (Nov 27th) in the different cultural centres, at 7pm.
