Adeje’s department of economic development and employment have just released details of the latest series of free online courses on offer to the public – anyone interested in registering should go to www.adeje.es.

This is the second round of courses on offer. There are ten courses with a variety of themes, include Advanced English, German A1, Accountancy, Sales Leadership, Food Preparation and Client Attention among others.  Registration is via the online platform until May 31st with courses starting on June 2th through to June 27th. One of the conditions of registration is that you many only sign up for one course at a time, to allow for as many people as possible to take advantage of the offer – and quite a few of the courses will be repeated later on if you are interested in more than one.

The courses are for members of the public registered on the Adeje ‘padrón’, currently unemployed and registered with the Canarian Employment Service (so with a DARDE number), and they should also have signed up with the local job centre service run by Adeje council. These courses are also open to those people currently on ERTE, the national government financial assistance scheme for those whose employment is suspended due to the Covid situation.
