The courses are organised by Proyecto Hombre over a series of workshops during March

5 march 2021
The Adeje council’s department of health, under councillor Amada Trujillo Bencomo, and in association with Proyecto Hombre, is running a series of workshops under the banner ‘Conéctate con Prevención’ aimed at adolescents and designed to reduce the risks of online dangers.

The workshops are for families who have teenagers and will encourage better practise. “With these training schemes we are working to use the concept of prevention of as a fundamental tool in evolving a healthy quality of life.  In this regard the workshops are focussed on learning and orientation during adolescence, an age and time in a growing person’s life that is full of change and challenges, which is why families need strategies to be on alert ahead of unwanted changes”.

The workshops, (in Spanish) are on March 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th, and will deal with a range of issues from behaviour, connecting with your kids and drugs and alcohol consumption.  There is no charge.
