The influencer, with over 200,000 followers, will work as a tourism ambassador and as a singing and theatre coach and director in Adeje

Mamen Márquez, known nationally for her work as a vocal coach on the TV show Operación Triunfo, and as a musical and vocal director for Spain at Eurovision level, is joining the Adeje council as a cultural advisor and tourism ambassador.
With over 200 thousand online followers, she is one of the more important influencers for the younger Spaniards currently affected by the pandemic, and will work in reaching out to those people as part of her work with the Adeje council. Her work will also see her promoting Costa Adeje nationally and internationally.
The decision to invite her to join the team was made quite a few months ago, but put on hold during the current crisis, but now it is believed is the right time for her to begin her work here.
Marmen is a huge fan of the annual Good Friday production here in Adeje, and will work closely with the team for the 2021 productions in the musical performances and presentation. She will also be working with the Adeje School of Music, the EMMA, and generally in the worlds of theatre, dance, music and art in the borough.
She has an extensive curriculum, having trained in Spain and London (postgraduate in musical theatre, Guildford School of Acting and the University of Surrey) and Berklee College of Music in Boston. She has also worked on voice production and professional voice use with many individual professors worldwide, and even has graduated with a diploma in stage combat from the British Academy of Dramatic Combat!
Her career experience is also extensive, working on national productions including Mamma Mia, Beauty and the Beast, Shrek, Hair, Jesus Christ Superstar, and in the world of opera too.
