Donation to the Adeje Senior Centre will benefit their wellbeing

The donation was made just before the Covid-19 state of emergency

The ‘Tusaid S.L.’ company have been thanked for the donation made, just before the state of emergency was announced, of funding to aid in a campaign linked to the Adeje Seniors Centre. 
 
The monies have been invested in the centre and the company additionally donated an electrical surgical stretcher, essential in physiotherapy, as well as an electrical muscle stimulator, specialised for use in care of residents’ physical wellbeing on a daily basis.  These are for the regular use of residents of the Adeje Senior’s Centre, which is located in El Galeón.
 
The donation was actually effected during March, just before the pandemic forced the Spanish state of emergency, and was attended by the councillor for community wellbeing and the councillor for special needs, Mercedes Vargas Delgado and Jose Antonio López Delgado respectively. 
 
Tusais S.L. was also responsible for the donation of beds for the homeless in a sports centre in Adeje during the pandemic.  The company has been working with the Adeje social services department since 2018 in various initiatives within the ambit of community wellbeing, working to assist those most vulnerable.
