Get your walking shoes on!

Discover this island on foot

27 april 2021
Rambling is very much seen as a sport for all, here in Adeje we are promoting the activity as something that shows off our local culture, offer walkers new insights into the borough and the rest of the island, as well as an enjoyable day out.

The Adeje council is running a series of rambles under the title ‘Ponte las botas’ or Get your walking shoes on!  The idea is to get people out and about, obviously following current restrictions, promote the  local environment and care for it, the ideas behind sustainable development, and boost our own health and welfare, physically and mentally.

There are a series of routes on offer – some already booked up – through rural parts, not just of Adeje, but of the island of Tenerife, over the coming months. Participants will use organised public transport and also have the guidance of experts in adventure tourism and rambling. These events are conducted through Spanish.  The next organised walk is on May 22nd, and the link to information about the route and how to register is here https://www.adeje.es/participacion/actividades/13322-parque-natural-de-la-corona-forestal
