Adeje Town Hall is marking World AIDS Response Day, reaffirming its commitment to prevention, early detection and access to information and health services, as well as support for people living with HIV and their families.
Adeje Town Hall’s Department of Health and Quality of Life continues its educational work with teenagers, young people and the wider public, offering information on safe sex, rapid HIV testing and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs). HIV and STI tests are available through the Screening Point programme in the local Health Centres.
Activities in secondary schools and the community promote inclusive, stigma-free environments and a responsible, positive and safe approach to sexuality, encouraging care practices that support the wellbeing of all.
