Adeje Town Hall is hosting the ‘Especial Degusta.me 2025’ this coming Saturday, November 29th, which will close the sixteenth edition of the month of Gastronomy Showcases, with a wide variety of gastronomic products from participating local businesses, musical performances and activities for all the family.
The event will take place on Calle Grande and in the Plaza de España, from 4 pm to 1 am, with a special programme organised by Adeje Town Hall’s Department of Economic Development and Employment.
Mercedes Vargas, councillor for the Promotion of Economic Activity and Employment in Adeje, emphasised that this type of event continues to “highlight the value” of local businesses and, in particular, the restaurant sector, with a wide range of activities designed to boost and strengthen the local economy.
For his part, Alberto Álvarez, councillor for Economic Development and Employment, noted that this edition “has reinforced the Town Hall’s commitment” to the business community in the municipality. “We have worked to ensure that Degusta.me 2025 was closer to the public by introducing a free taxi service, alongside the tourist train, to make sure that everyone could enjoy the Tapas Route”, he said.
The ‘Especial Degusta.me’ will feature performances from the Adeje Band fanfare, The Vid Band and Ni un Pelo de Tonto. 101 Brass Band, Salvapantallas, the Sabrosa orchestra and the Aquiles parade, as well as a Marc Anthony tribute.
In the Plaza de España there will be free children’s workshops and activities, with supervised bouncy castles and a childcare service, to encourage activities for all ages.
New this year, and in line with the Municipal Strategic Plan for Functional Diversity, the children’s area will have a priority access point for minors who need support, accompanied by an adult, with the assistance of staff from the Functional Diversity Care Centre.
This area will have a marked entrance, identification wristbands, pictogram signage and adapted toilets. A reserved space for people with reduced mobility (PMR) will also be available, located from the Convent to halfway along the entrance walkway to the Town Hall.
During the month of November, the sixteenth edition of ‘Degústa.me Adeje 2025’ offered a full programme with more than 20 workshops and visits, designed to highlight the gastronomic and cultural richness of the municipality. These activities included practical cooking workshops, guided tastings and “gastro visits”, an experience that encouraged learning and enjoyment of Adeje’s gastronomy.
