Adeje Town Hall’s Department of Education, headed by Adolfo Alonso Ferrera and Coraima Afonso Navarro, has opened the window for transport aid for students not eligible for free transport via the regional Education Department and living in population areas in Adeje without a free public transport service or urban collective transport, for the 2025–2026 academic year. The grants will be awarded on a competitive basis. The application period is one month, from November 18th to December 17th 2025.

These grants are aimed mainly at Adeje students taking ESO, Bachillerato, Intermediate Level Training Cycles or Basic Vocational Training in public centres in Spain and in on-site learning. It is very important to note that the student must not be already entitled to the free school transport service of the regional Education Department or live in areas without a public passenger transport service.

Among the requirements to apply for this aid, in addition to the above, are the following. The applicant must have been registered as living in Adeje for at least one year before the end of the application period. Family income limits, according to the rules, are thresholds between 75 percent and 80 percent of the IPREM × 1.5 depending on the number of dependent family members. The applicant must not hold qualifications of the same or higher level than the studies for which the aid is requested. The applicant must not have outstanding repayments or pending documents with the Town Hall. The applicant must be enrolled for the 2025–2026 academic year and take a full course load when required.

The basic documentation to be submitted will be the standardised application form and responsible declaration, a valid certificate of registration or authorisation for consultation, DNI or NIE of the applicant and the family unit, accreditation of income such as the IRPF for the year indicated in the call or a tax certificate, the third-party registration form with bank details, and the enrolment document from the public education centre. Specific documentation where applicable includes custody rulings, accreditation of gender violence, accreditation as a victim of terrorism, or documentation from social services.

Required paperwork and applications may be submitted via Adeje Town Hall’s online site, or in the education and main public office in Adeje.
